Summer Work
Recently, I went to see the film Spider-Man: Homecoming. I thought it was an amazing film. The story was amazing, very clever and had a twist to most basic superhero movies. It was also extremely funny, there was a lot of relatable comedy, and almost all the jokes were original and very clever. 1 of my favourite TV shows at the moment would have to be DareDevil, the soundtrack is beautiful and the storyline is amazing. Skins is another show that I've recently started watching. I've been recommended it by many people.
A lot of new albums have come out in 2017, I've started to get into listening to entire albums. The band's Everything Everything, Gorillaz, and Nothing But Thieves have released new albums this year. Everything Everything is relatively new and their music is superb. Nothing but thieves has become one of my favourite bands. I also like listening to a lot of soundtrack music. For example, while watching SpiderMan: Homecoming, I tried to focus on the music occasionally to see if I'd like it. It sounded really good so I listened to it once I had the time and it was really good.
The main games I've been playing are normally either on my PC or my Nintendo Switch. I've mostly just been playing Overwatch at the moment but I do occasionally go back to older games. On my Switch, I will tend to play Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2 or Mario Kart 8. These are all really fun games and the Switch makes them easy to bring with me.
On YouTube, I've started watching a few new channels and keeping up to date with some I've been watching for some time. I mainly watch CowChop, H3H3 Productions, iDubbbz, SuperMega, and MaxMoeFoe. I find all of these channels incredibly funny and just pleasant to watch. I've also started to get into Podcasts recently, mainly SuperMegaCast and the H3 Podcast. I would like to listen to Ear Biscuits, by Rhett and Link. But otherwise, I'm really enjoying the SuperMegaCast. In the podcast, they have two hosts, Matt Watson, and Ryan Mcgee, occasionally they will have guests but normally it's just them. They mostly just talk about things, either basic topics to do with life or funny stories they've built up throughout their life. They delve into their past a lot too and bring up funny or big moments in their life. They're quite young too, only around their 20's so they can be very relatable.
